STATEMENT FROM THE US NATIONAL ARCHIVES: "The National Archives Museum and all museums in our Presidential Libraries system will be CLOSED to the public until further notice, starting at the close of business, Friday, March 13."
The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum is currently open during normal business hours and general admission prices reduced
The Bush Library and Museum is taking a number of steps to limit the spread of COVID-19 including shutting down interactive devices resulting in reduced admission prices
COLLEGE STATION, Mar. 12, 2020 – The Bush Library and Museum in College Station, Texas remains open during normal business hours. Any changes to normal operating hours will be announced via media advisories and will be posted to the Library website at www.bush41.org.
To better protect our staff and help limit the spread of COVID-19, the Bush Library and Museum has increased the cleaning of public areas, shut down touch-screen interactives, distributed antibacterial hand sanitizer to all our volunteers, added numerous antibacterial hand sanitizer stations around the museum, suspended the use of audio wands, and much more. Even though audio wands are not available, the audio tour is available through mobile devices on our website, www.bush41.org.
Because museum interactives have been shut down, admission discounts will begin on March 13, 2020. Adults, senior citizens, and retired military prices will be reduced to the group rate of $6.00. Youth and other college students will remain at $3.00. TAMU and Blinn College student remain free. These discounts will remain until further notice.
