After years of failure in the super regionals, A&M has returned to the College World Series for the first time since 1999.  Counted out by many after the injury of pitching ace John Stilson, the Aggies used stellar pitching in 2 of the 3 games to knock out 5th-seeded Florida State.  The series against the Seminoles was a smackdown, as the Aggies won their 2 games by routs of 6-2 and 11-2, & the Seminoles blasted the Aggies 23-9 in between.

A&M joins rival Texas and 6 other finalists in the College World Series.  Defending national champion South Carolina awaits A&M for a showdown Sunday evening at 6 PM in a double-elimination format tournament.  The Aggies have already captured a handful of national championships this Spring, and look to bring home another trophy.
