Runners, & those of you looking to stay in shape, the Buffalo Stampede is coming your way this October 1st!  With a half-marathon & a 5K race, the Buffalo Stampede will attract runners from all over Brazos Valley.   Runners will use Chrono Track System disposable bib tags to provide accurate race times that will also be posted online.  Even better, they’re providing water stops & music along the way of the race!

If you need to prepare for the long run, groups are meeting on each Saturday morning, starting on August 6th, at 6:30 AM.  Yes, that’s early, but the preparation will pay off!  Dwight at hirsch@suddenlink.net is your contact for more information & signing up for those preparation runs.

Give it your all at the race, because post-race refreshments will be graciously provided!  After the race, everyone can enjoy Boonville Days, the history fair of frontier skills demonstrations, re-enactors, art, & music. Don’t let the weather keep you away, as the festive Boonville Days activities are inside & outside the Museum.  Runner registration includes free admission to the Museum!
