Expedia named Bryan, Texas as one of “The Best American Towns for Holiday Shopping.”
Among the 25 destinations noted throughout America, Downtown Bryan is described as a “shopping mecca where you’ll come across one-of-a-kind shops and galleries that offer that little extra something.” We couldn’t agree more!
Remember, Small Business Saturday is November 25th this year so be sure to tag @ExperienceBCS on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram when you shop locally to support #SmallBusinessSaturday in Bryan College Station.
If you’re from here or even a former Aggie alumnus, but can’t get to Downtown Bryan or anywhere throughout the area before the holidays, you can still shop local even if you aren’t local (anymore). A lot of the shops have online stores, making it possible for you to add that something extra to your shopping list this year.
Festivities of Lights
Wide Open Country named our city on its list of “11 of the Best Christmas Lights Displays in Texas.” It’s easy to see why. During the Downtown Bryan Lighted Christmas Parade, hundreds of thousands of lights are on display for the only lighted Christmas parade in Bryan College Station.
See the magical display as floats, vehicles, fire engines and more, all draped in sparkling wonder, pass along 24th St, Bryan St., 28th St. and then back up to Main St.
Of course, we can’t mention lights without writing about Santa’s Wonderland! (Go to the website for a second. Just do it. The music alone will get you giddy!) The North Pole comes to Texas during this magical festival of lights.
As one of the biggest Christmas attractions in the state, Santa’s Wonderland has over three million Christmas lights and includes a food village, a holiday winery, live music, carriage rides, hayrides and jolly ol' St. Nick himself.
Yes, the holidays are here! It’s time to get excited and start planning your trip to Bryan College Station.
