Summertime is usually synonymous with one sport: baseball.  If the Houston Astros or Texas Rangers are too far away for you, there’s a team playing in the backyard of Bryan-College Station: the Brazos Valley Bombers.

Currently the Bombers are in the middle of the pack, sitting at 12-12.  However, they are heating up, posting a 7-3 record in the previous 10 games.  Left-handed Trey Porras leads the league with a whopping .444 batting average, which is head & shoulders above the rest of the pack.  The pitching staff is bringing the heat with the strikeouts, as 3 of the top 5 league leaders in strikeouts are Bombers (Michael Hilliard, Alec Mills, & Drew Olson).

The Bombers play at 2200 Bomber Drive in Bryan.  Games are just about every day, and practically every game is at 7 PM.  Check the schedule & get your tickets.
