The Alzheimer’s Association® is inviting Brazos Valley residents to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s by participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The Walk will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Wolf Pen Creek Ampitheater in College Station.
Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's participants will complete a 5K (3.1 Mile) walk and will learn about Alzheimer's disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical studies enrollment and support programs and services from the Alzheimer’s Association. Walk participants will also join in a meaningful tribute ceremony to honor those affected by Alzheimer's disease.
In addition to the 5K (3.1 Mile) walk, participants will enjoy the opening ceremony with the National Anthem, music, entertaining warm-up and a special tribute to those who have experienced or are experiencing Alzheimer’s. Participants will learn more about Alzheimer's disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical studies enrollment and support programs and services. Walk participants also honor those affected by Alzheimer's disease with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony.
