Fall Star Party hosted by The Stella and Texas A&M’s Department of Physics and Astronomy

The Stella and Texas A&M University’s Department of Physics and Astronomy are thrilled to host the second of their quarterly “Star Parties” series on Thursday, September 28 at 9 p.m.
Led by Texas A&M astronomer Dr. Jennifer Marshall, the experiential evening will feature a variety of telescope stations focused on different celestial bodies such as planets, constellations and the moon. Members of Dr. Marshall’s team will be stationed at each telescope to help guide visitors through the viewing process.
The Stella will offer stargazers an al fresco bar with a variety of refreshing and festive beverages including the including the featured Dark Matter cocktail, which includes gin, sugar, lemon and charcoal, with grated lemon as the garnish to represent the stars in the night sky. The hotel will also offer a 10% discount at their on-site restaurant, Campfire, for those who would like to come early and dine prior to the event.
